FDP on 1905402-Electrical Machines-II from 23-11-2020 to 28-11-2020

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SRM Valliammai Engineering College has conducted Six days Faculty Development Programme on the topic “1905402-Electrical Machines-II” during 23rd Nov 2020 to 28th Nov 2020 through Microsoft Teams online platform for the Faculties. The First day sessions were presented by the Resource person Dr.Sadeep Sasidharan, Technical Consultant, PWSIM Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd., (Subsidiary of Powersys, France)who conveyed the topics behind Three Phase Induction Motor. The Second day sessions were presented by the Resource person Dr.R.Arivalahan, Asso. Prof./EEE, SRMVEC who conveyed the topics behind Starting And Speed Control Of Three Phase Induction Motor. The Third day sessions were presented by the Resource person Mr.M.Kamalakannan, Asst. Prof. (O.G)/EEE, SRMVEC who conveyed the topics behind Synchronous Generator. The Fourth day sessions were presented by the Resource person Ms.K.Rathnapriya, Asst. Prof. (O.G)/EIE, SRMVEC who conveyed the topics behind Synchronous Motor. The Fifth day sessions were presented by the Resource person Mr.R.Sivaprasad, Asst. Prof. Grade-II/EEE, Sri Sairam Engineering College who conveyed the topics behind Single Phase Induction Motors and Special Machines. On the Sixth day, Group Discussion, Test & Feedback sessions were made. The faculties interacted with the resource persons very much and cleared their doubts. The participants found that the Programme was quite informative & very much useful.
