Guest Lecture on Micro & Nano Technology – An Introduction and MEMS & Commercial Micro Sensors

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SRM Valliammai Engineering College has conducted Guest Lecture on the topic of “Micro & Nano Technology–An Introduction and MEMS & Commercial Micro Sensors in Novel Applications” on 18th February 2021 through the MS Team (OnlineMode) for students’community.The session was presented by the resource person Guest Lecture on “Micro & Nano Technology–An Introduction and MEMS & Commercial Micro Sensors in Novel Applications” held on 18th February2021 presented Dr.J.JAYAPANDIAN, Head&Scientific Officer–H(Rtd), Electronics & Instrumentation Section, Surface & Nano Science Division, Materials Science Group, IGCAR, KALPAKKAM by through MS Teams online platform.He conveyed the basic introduction of Microand Nano technology and its importance in Digital world.He discussed about the micro& nano area,tiny devices offer giant opportunities for technology,consumer products,energy saving systems, environmental,Healthcare,biomedical and more. He briefed about procedures and classifications in Micro and Nano technology. He shared his working experience of making up very small nano mechanical transducers.At the end of the session the students interacted with there source person and cleared their doubts. The participants felt Guest Lecture was very informative and had exposure in Micro and NanoTechnology.
