Guest Lecture on “Smart Grid Technology as a Renewable Energy Source” on 16th March 2022

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SRM Valliammai Engineering College has conducted Guest Lecture on the topic of “Smart Grid Technology as a Renewable Energy Source” on 16th March 2022 Through the MS Team (Online Mode) for the Faculties and Students of EEE Department. The session was presented by the resource person C.Nithya Sree, Application Development Associate, Accenture, Bangalore. who conveyed the introduction of Smart Grid Technology and its connection with the Renewable Energy Systems. She also discussed about the opportunities of Electrical Engineers in Renewable Energy Systems and shared her views about Smart Grid. At the end of the session the students interacted with the resource person and she has cleared their doubts. The participants found that the Guest Lecture was very informative andhad exposure in opportunities for Electrical Engineers in Renewable energy.
