International Guest Lecture on 03-10-2020

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SRM Valliammai Engineering College has conducted International Guest Lecture on the topic of “Cyber Security an Overview” on 3rd October 2020 through the MS Team (Online Mode) for students’ community. The session was presented by the resource person Mr. Kapilsundar Rajamani, Graduate (CS)NZ level 7, B.E – EEE,University of Waikato,Hamilton,New ZEALAND who conveyed the basic introduction of Cyber security and its importance in Digital world. He discussed about the machine learning tools and techniques in detail. He briefed about procedures and classifications in cyber security. He shared his working experience of Monitoring the ports for security threats and malicious activity and analysing the data for better Firewall and IDS structure. He also discussed about the ways and procedures to study in abroad. Also, he shared his experience as a student in our college. At the end of the session the students interacted with the resource person and cleared their doubts. The participants felt International Guest Lecture was very informative and also had exposure in Cyber Security and study in abroad.
