International Guest Lecture on 15-09-2020

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SRM Valliammai Engineering College has conducted International Guest Lecture on the topic of “Advancement in MOSFET Technologies” on 15th September 2020 Through the MS Team (Online Mode) for EEE students. The session was presented by the resource person Mr.Thavarasan Tharaneetharan, B.E., (Alumni), Software Developer, Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, USA. Who conveyed the basic introduction about MOSFET and its Characteristics. He briefly explained the structure of MOSFET and different layers in it. He has explained about fundamentals of MOSFET fabrication then he discussed about recent advancements in materials used to manufacture MOSFET and how to reduce the losses and various applications. At the end of the session the students interacted with the resource person and he has cleared their doubts. The participants found that the International Guest Lecture was very informative and also had exposure to Advancement in MOSFET Technologies and its applications.
