National Seminar on 31st March 2023 on the topic “Recent Trends in E-Vehicles”

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has conducted National Seminar on 31st March 2023 on the topic “Recent Trends in E-Vehicles” in New Seminar Hall , SRM Valliammai Engineering College, SRM Nagar, Kattankulathur-603 203.

The seminar was hosted by three speakers.

Dr.K.Vijaya Kumar, Assistant Professor/EEE, IITDM, Kanchipuram has given a nice presentation on Topic “E-Mobility Technology, Challenges and Opportunities” from 10.00 A.M to 12.00 Noon. He explained the various procedure for the formation E-Vehicles and Recent Trends. The students of EEE as well as students from other discipline have shown their participation towards this program. Also, faculties showed their interest in participating this National Seminar. The program has been ended with doubt clearing session and the Resource person was thanked for his valuable speech.

Mr.N.Suresh, Senior Design Engineer, Torus Robotics Pvt. Ltd., Ekkatuthangal gave the presentation on the Topic “Axial Flux Motors for E-Vehicles” from 1.00 P.M to 2.30 P.M. He had provided a wide knowledge on the topic “Electric and Hybrid Vehicles(EHV) and Energy Optimization through Electric Automobiles”. He discussed the necessary safety measures to be carried out domestically and the importance of the same. He shared his working experience and discussed the great awareness to Electric Vehicles.

Mr.S.Karthikeyan, Research and Development, NPD in Electric Vehicles, Greendzine Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has given a nice presentation on Topic “Ein ESG and the role of EVs” From 2.30 P.M to 4.00 P.M. He explained the various procedure for the formation Hybrid E-Vehicles and also explained Recent Trends of E-Vechiles. The students of EEE as well as students from other discipline have shown their participation towards this programme. Also, faculties showed their interest in participating this National Seminar. The programme has been ended with doubt clearing session and the Resource person was thanked for his valuable speech.
