Online mode Industrial Visit on 15th December 2021

The session was started at 06.00PM through Ms Team Platform

Mr Amal Raj , Niraltek Solutions Private Ltd, Chennai, had started the session at 6.00 PM .He had greeted the staff members and the students and he gave a brief introduction about their company and its routine work. The industrial visit began with incorporating some theoretical talk regarding basics of electrical Engineering ,Embedded Systems concepts. He had gave the brief introduction about the Fundaments of Microprocessor architecture designing concepts, Data transmission systems ,Internet of Things (IoT). He had highlighted the scope of the Automation Industry for Future generation

He had presented the theoretical concepts about the Different types of Processor such as The ARM Cortex-M is a group of 32-bit RISC ARM processor cores license Digital Signal Processor raspberry pi ,Arduino and IoT. He briefly explained about the architectures and binary instruction upward compatible from ARMv6-M to ARMv7-M to ARMv7E-M. Humanoid robot, An industrial robot is a robot system used for manufacturing. Industrial robots are automated, programmable and capable of movement on three or more axes. A microcomputer is a small, relatively inexpensive computer with a microprocessor as its central processing unit (CPU). It includes a microprocessor, memory and minimal input/output (I/O) circuitry mounted on a single printed circuit board (PCB)

The students were able to remember and recall the theory studied about the converter and inverter circuits in the courses like Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Embedded system and Digital Signal Processing .The industrial visit proved to be very helpful for the students and went seamlessly by which the student got a brief idea on electrical safety and its protection along with real time applications. It was around 7.00 PM we had completed the Industrial Visit session

We take this opportunity in rendering our thanks to our Management, Principal and Head of the Department for providing us this opportunity in the online mode (MS Team Platform) which made our industrial visit as very useful one.

All the students had very interactive session throughout the visit. They were able to correlate the basics of raspberry pi, IoT and Arduino which they studied in theory. Also the students had the chance of transferring the theoretical knowledge to practical implementation. This would really help the students in understanding the subject in future. With more practical knowledge to be gained than the theoretical knowledge gained, they were very much interested hoping that the College will arrange many such Visits for the purpose of Student’s Intellectual Developments.
