The Value-Added Course has been conducted by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to provide Hands on Training on “Building Internet of Things Projects with ESP32 and AWS Cloud” for two days. It was conducted for two hours in evening from 25.10.22 to 28.10.22 and full day on 29.10.22 for the benefit of EEE students with a total strength of thirty eight. The resource persons are Mr.U.Amalraj, IoT Head and Mr.S.Subramaniyan, Senior IoT developer from Niraltek Solutions pvt ltd, Adambakkam, Chennai.

The primary and overall objective of this course is to give a novice understanding of emerging global trends in Internet of Things to students. Mr.U.Amalraj, IoT Head, discussed in detail about benefits, applications and challenges of IoT and AWS cloud. Mr.S.Subramaniyan, Senior IoT developer explained IoT technologies in detail and shown demonstration of few projects to the students. Students interacted with the resource persons and cleared their doubts. The students obtained a clear perspective towards this course and got interest in designing IoT projects. An assessment has been conducted towards this course and feedback is obtained at the end of the course.
